About TV Radar

What is TV Radar?

TV Radar is a daily TV guide for UK viewers who want to know what’s actually worth watching tonight – without wading through hundreds of channels and endless scrolling.

Every day, I go through the TV listings and pick out the highlights: the unmissable dramas, the hidden gems on BBC Four, the films that haven’t aired in years, and the stuff you’d kick yourself for missing. No filler, no padding – just honest recommendations.

Who’s Behind This?

I’m Clint, and I’ve been obsessed with television for as long as I can remember.

Growing up, the TV guide was essential reading. Circling the programmes you didn’t want to miss, planning your evening around what was on. These days, with hundreds of channels and infinite streaming options, finding something good to watch has somehow become harder, not easier.

TV Radar exists because I got tired of missing great programmes buried in the schedules. If I’m doing the research anyway, I figured I might as well share it.

What Makes This Different?

Real opinions, not press releases. I’ll tell you if something’s overrated, underwhelming, or genuinely worth clearing your evening for. The star ratings mean something.

UK-focused. This is for people watching Freeview, Freesat, Sky, and the main streaming services in the UK. No American schedules, no confusion about what’s actually available here.

Updated daily. Every morning, you’ll find fresh recommendations for that evening’s viewing. The homepage shows tonight’s picks, and you can browse upcoming days too.

No endless scrolling. I highlight the best 10-15 programmes each night. Quality over quantity.

The Bottom Line

TV Radar is one person’s genuine attempt to answer the question we all ask: “What’s on TV tonight that’s actually worth watching?”

If you find it useful, brilliant. If you disagree with my picks, even better – that’s what good TV criticism is about.

Happy viewing.
