The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer launches on Channel 4 at 7:40pm with six comedians including Joe Wilkinson and Jon Richardson. Crookhaven launches as a new family drama on BBC One, and The Other Bennet Sister continues at 8pm.

Saturday's Freeview TV guide has something for everyone. BBC Four screens Alice Rohrwacher's gorgeous 2023 Italian film La Chimera at 9:20pm, with Josh O'Connor giving a career-best performance as a British tomb raider in 1980s Tuscany. ITV1 launches Celebrity Sabotage at 8pm with GK Barry, Sam Thompson, Joel Dommett and Judi Love setting traps for unsuspecting members of the public. Sky One premieres Saturday Night Live UK at 10pm. Earlier, Gladiators on BBC One at 5:45pm reaches the penultimate episode and Sabre's unbeaten record comes to an end. Casualty follows at 8:30pm, The Walsh Sisters continues on BBC One at 9:15pm, and Brighton host Liverpool in the Premier League at 12:30pm.

Friday's Freeview TV guide is dominated by Red Nose Day 2026 -- Comic Relief: Funny for Money runs from 7pm on BBC One with sketches from Catherine Tate, Romesh Ranganathan, Alison Hammond and a Bank Job sketch with This Morning's Dermot O'Leary. BBC Two counters at 9pm with Gardeners' World, where Monty Don tackles an ambitious spring workload at Longmeadow and Carol Klein visits a Kentish apple grower with over 1,200 cultivars. More4 launches a new Italian crime series, Walter Presents: Blanca, at 9pm -- a blind criminal profiler navigating Genoa. BBC Four gives over the night to Neil Sedaka. EastEnders does not air on Fridays.
