Come Dine with Me runs five episodes from the same South Yorkshire week between 3pm and 5pm, then A Place in the Sun returns for a further two editions at 5:30pm and 6pm.

Dover 24/7: Britain’s Busiest Port (series 2, episode 8) follows the port’s cargo handlers racing to clear 3,000 tonnes of steel while Border Force staff investigate a suspicious consignment. The hour also covers a Remembrance service marking both World Wars.

The Piano — 4seven, 9pm

The Piano (series 4, episode 5) is back in Manchester, where a young composer builds a piece out of just two notes and a seven-year-old wins over the whole concourse.

The Contractor — 4seven, 10pm

From 10pm, The Contractor, a 2022 thriller starring Chris Pine as an ex-soldier drawn into dangerous private security work, with Kiefer Sutherland co-starring. The film runs past midnight.
