What’s on Legend today

Babylon 5 — Legend, 7pm
Series 5, episode 5. Lochley’s past turns up on the station while a group of Ranger trainees pays a visit. It sits in the final season, so newcomers will find it easier to start earlier in the run.
Walker, Texas Ranger — Legend, 8pm
Series 5, episode 5. An experimental dairy farm draws Walker’s attention because the safety of friends at the Cherokee Federal Reservation is in question.
Kill ‘Em All — Legend, 9pm
A 2017 thriller with Jean-Claude Van Damme, set mostly inside a hospital. A badly hurt stranger is carried in, a gang follows to finish him off, and the building turns into a battleground. It has the two-hour slot to itself, adverts included.
Maximum Risk — Legend, 11pm
Van Damme again, this time in the 1996 action film from director Ringo Lam, with a Franco-American chase plot and the star playing a double role. It follows straight on from Kill ‘Em All, so the night is effectively one long Van Damme programme, broken by adverts.

Cult horror and its Horror Channel roots
Horror hasn’t been dropped, just demoted. Amicus and Hammer-adjacent anthologies still turn up, along with independent chillers and oddities like Horror Express, though these days they land in the afternoon or after midnight rather than at 9pm.
Sci-fi, fantasy and action films
Most evenings belong to genre cinema of a specific vintage: Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, and further back, the fantasy adventures Ray Harryhausen animated.
