What’s on Channel 4 today: the daytime schedule

Saturday’s Channel 4 daytime is a straight comedy-repeat run. Taskmaster closes out the small hours, then four episodes each of Cheers, Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier carry breakfast and mid-morning, before nine episodes of The Simpsons run from 10:50am to just past 1pm.

Five more Four in a Bed episodes fill the early afternoon, then George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and Grand Designs take the schedule through to Channel 4 News at 6pm.

Brie Larson’s 2019 origin story, Carol Danvers crash-landing on 1990s Earth and teaming up with a young Nick Fury. Standard Marvel machinery, but the mismatched-decade setting is where most of the fun is.

Nope — Channel 4, 10:20pm

Jordan Peele’s 2022 film, Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer running a horse ranch that starts noticing something wrong in the sky above it. Peele takes his time getting there, which is either the point or the problem depending on your patience for slow-burn horror.
