For tennis on TV today in the UK, look to Sky Sports Tennis: it carries the ATP and WTA tours, which is where nearly all the week-to-week play is. The only major tennis you can watch free is Wimbledon on the BBC. This week Sky Sports Tennis has the Basel and Vienna men’s events and the Tokyo and Guangzhou women’s events, and the Paris Masters began on Monday 2 November.
Tennis on TV Today: UK Channels, Times and Dates 2026
Our own checks of the Freeview guide found no live tennis on free channels in the coming week. Our what’s on TV tonight page covers the free channels each evening.
Which channels show tennis in the UK?
Three broadcasters split the rights. This is the 2026 picture.
| Competition | UK broadcaster | Free to watch? |
|---|---|---|
| ATP Tour (Masters 1000s, 500s, 250s) | Sky Sports Tennis, NOW | No |
| WTA Tour | Sky Sports Tennis, NOW | No |
| Wimbledon | BBC One, BBC Two, BBC iPlayer | Yes |
| Australian Open | TNT Sports, discovery+ | No |
| Roland-Garros | TNT Sports | No |
| US Open | Sky Sports, NOW | No |
| Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup ties | BBC iPlayer (2026 Finals tie) | Yes, when the BBC carries it |
Sky has confirmed that its US Open deal now runs to the end of 2030. TNT Sports is the exclusive UK and Ireland broadcaster of Roland-Garros under a deal that runs to 2030. The BBC and the All England Club announced in June 2026 that Wimbledon stays free-to-air in the UK through 2033.
Our Sky Sports TV guide lists the Sky Sports channels day by day, and the TNT Sports TV guide does the same for TNT.
What tennis can you watch for free?
Wimbledon, mainly. In 2026 the BBC showed the Championships from Monday 29 June to Sunday 12 July, starting at 10.30am on BBC Two, then from 11am on BBC One and BBC Two, with BBC iPlayer carrying every court. You can find the BBC channels in our BBC One guide and BBC Two guide.
After that, free tennis is patchy. The BBC put Great Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup quarter-final against Czechia on iPlayer on 22 September 2026, at 10am UK time. We have not seen the BBC confirm anything for the Davis Cup in November, so treat that as not confirmed yet.
The ATP and WTA both post highlights on their official YouTube channels. No live play, though.

The WTA Finals were due in Riyadh, but the WTA and the Saudi Tennis Federation agreed to end the host deal early, and Sky reported the move to Indian Wells on 1 July 2026. Turin has the men’s Finals through 2027. For the Turin event, Sky showed every match in 2025, but we have not yet seen its 2026 schedule.

When does the 2027 Australian Open start in UK time?
Qualifying runs from Monday 11 to Saturday 16 January 2027, and the main draw runs from Sunday 17 to Sunday 31 January, at Melbourne Park.
In the UK it is shown on TNT Sports and discovery+. Melbourne is 11 hours ahead, so outside courts start at midnight UK time, show courts at 1am, and the night sessions at 8am.
Entry lists, the draw and the full schedule are not out yet. Tennis Australia releases these closer to the event.
Which British players are playing?
The LTA’s 2026 previews name these players across singles, doubles and wheelchair tennis.
- Cameron Norrie and Arthur Fery have direct entry to the Paris Masters singles.
- Doubles: Henry Patten, Neal Skupski, Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool are expected in the Paris doubles, though entry lists were not confirmed when the LTA wrote its preview. Skupski won the Australian Open men’s doubles in 2026.
- Wheelchair: Alfie Hewett, the reigning Paris WC500 singles champion, and Gordon Reid play in Paris from 6 to 8 November.
- Billie Jean King Cup: captain Anne Keothavong named Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Sonay Kartal, Mika Stojsavljevic and Jodie Burrage for September’s Finals in Shenzhen.
Great Britain’s Davis Cup team for Bologna had not been listed when we checked. The team is named by the LTA close to the tie.
How do tennis start times work?
Tennis has no fixed finish times, so the TV schedule is built around the tournament’s order of play. A tournament publishes it the evening before, setting out which matches go on which court and in what order.
Only the first match on each court has a firm start time. Everything after it is “followed by”, meaning it starts when the previous match ends. A “not before” time means that match will not begin earlier than that time, but could be later. Long matches push everything after them back, so late starts are normal.
For broadcasts, Sky’s listing usually shows the opening of its coverage window, not each match. The Paris Masters, for example, shows as a single block from 10am UK time on Sky Sports Tennis. Use the tournament’s order of play to find your match, and expect the TV start time to be the earliest it could be.
How can you get Sky Sports Tennis?
You can watch Sky Sports Tennis through Sky, through NOW with a Sky Sports pass, or on other pay-TV platforms such as Virgin Media. Our Freeview, Sky and Virgin comparison helps if you are choosing a service, and more sport is listed day by day.
