ITV4 TV Guide: Listings, Schedule & What’s On ITV4 Tonight

Daily TV Guide

ITV4 launched on 1 November 2005, taking over ITV’s off-peak Freeview slot from the ITV News Channel before absorbing what was left of the old Men and Motors channel the following spring. Two decades on, it’s settled into a clear identity as ITV plc’s home for live sport, archive action and just enough irreverence to separate it from the main channel. Tonight’s primetime runs on road and track: King of the Roads revisits the Tandragee 100 at 7pm, followed by a World Superbike Highlights round-up from Donington Park at 8pm. Ice Road Truckers takes the 9pm hour, and a two-hour instalment of All Elite Wrestling: Collision closes out the night from 10pm. Channel numbers for every platform are in the table further down.

ITV4 Tonight — Primetime and the Evening Schedule

Here’s the ITV4 primetime line-up for tonight, Tuesday 14 July 2026.

King of the Roads — ITV4, 7pm

Tonight’s King of the Roads revisits the Tandragee 100, the closed-roads race through the County Armagh town that’s been part of Northern Ireland’s road racing calendar for decades. Expect archive footage and rider recollections rather than fresh competition.

World Superbike Highlights — ITV4, 8pm

An hour-long round-up from the Prosecco DDC UK round at Donington Park, condensing a full weekend of World Superbike racing down to the key overtakes and battles for anyone who missed the live sessions.

Ice Road Truckers — ITV4, 9pm

Alex hits a flooded stretch of road that threatens to leave his rig stranded in tonight’s episode (series 5, episode 2), the kind of hazard that’s kept this US import a reliable fixture on ITV4’s schedule.

All Elite Wrestling: Collision — ITV4, 10pm

ITV4’s weekly wrestling commitment closes out the night with a full two-hour instalment of AEW Collision (series 4, episode 26), running longer than the channel’s usual hour-long slots. It’s the companion show to Friday’s Dynamite under ITV’s wrestling deal, giving the night’s later hours its biggest single block of programming and the clearest reason to stay up.

What kind of shows are on ITV4

Live sport: racing, rugby and darts

ITV4 carries the bulk of ITV’s live sport rights outside of ITV1’s biggest occasions. ITV Racing has been the channel’s anchor since horse racing moved to ITV from Channel 4 in 2017, running near-daily meetings alongside the showpiece Saturdays. The Nations Championship, rugby’s new global competition launched in July 2026, gives ITV4 a fresh live rugby commitment through the summer months when British fans wouldn’t normally get much international action, and the channel has also carried live darts in recent seasons, including instalments of the World Series of Darts.

Motorsport, rally and archive sport

Beyond the live fixtures, ITV4 fills its schedule with motorsport digest shows. World Rally Championship Highlights and Motorsport Mundial both round up international series that rarely get UK coverage elsewhere, and the channel runs nightly highlights through Isle of Man TT race week each spring. Archive strands such as The Big Match Revisited and Goals of the 1990s dig into old football footage for a specific, nostalgic slice of the audience.

American reruns, action and wrestling

The rest of the schedule is filled out with imported American comedy and reality (Two and a Half Men, American Pickers), classic British crime drama reruns such as Minder, and a weekly booking of All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite. It’s an unfussy mix, built for viewers who want something reliably on in the background rather than appointment-to-view drama.

How to watch ITV4

Channel numbers

Here’s where to find ITV4 across the main UK television platforms:

Platform Channel
Freeview 26
Freeview ITV4+1 59
Sky 120
Sky ITV4+1 220
Virgin Media 118
Freesat 117

ITV4 is free on all of the above platforms, with no subscription required. Virgin Media and Freesat’s +1 position can move about more than Freeview and Sky, so your on-screen guide is the definitive source if it doesn’t line up exactly.

Streaming online

ITV4 streams live and free through ITVX, ITV’s streaming service, at itv.com/watch and via the ITVX app on smart TVs, mobiles, tablets and streaming devices including Amazon Fire TV and Roku. A free ITVX account is required, and much of ITV4’s archive and clip-show programming is also available to catch up on afterwards in the ITVX library, though live sport rights mean some racing and rugby coverage has more limited catch-up availability than the rest of the schedule.

ITV4 +1 and sister channels

ITV4+1 runs the same schedule exactly an hour behind, on Freeview 59 and Sky 220. If Nations Championship Rugby kicks off at 7:30pm and you’re running late, +1 lets you catch the opening quarter rather than missing the kick-off altogether.

ITV4 sits alongside ITV1, ITV2, ITV3 and ITVBe among ITV plc’s family of channels, all owned and operated by the same broadcaster and all streaming through ITVX. Where ITV1 carries the network’s biggest live sport occasions and ITV3 leans into drama and period pieces, ITV4 is reserved for the network’s more male-skewing sport and action mix.

Verdict

I rate ITV4 for exactly what it does well: live racing and rugby without a subscription in sight, delivered by a broadcaster that’s been presenting sport for decades. Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani’s racing coverage remains the channel’s strongest suit, and the arrival of the Nations Championship gives it a proper live rugby commitment through a stretch of the calendar British fans don’t usually get much international rugby in. The archive filler and American reruns are functional rather than exciting, and if wrestling isn’t your thing the 10:30pm slot won’t convert you.

Tonight is a straightforward ITV4 Tuesday, and none the worse for it. King of the Roads and World Superbike Highlights cover the early evening’s motoring ground, before Ice Road Truckers takes the 9pm slot. All Elite Wrestling: Collision then runs a full two hours from 10pm, the night’s biggest single commitment and the clearest reason to stick around. No live sport of its own this evening, but a settled mix of motorsport and action sees the schedule through comfortably.
