Challenge tonight — primetime and the evening schedule

Here’s the Challenge primetime line-up for tonight, Saturday 24 October 2026.

The Chase Celebrity — Challenge, 6pm

The early evening opens with a celebrity edition, series 6 episode 8. Matt Allwright, Stacey Solomon, Louise Minchin and Keith Allen play as a team against the Chaser for a charity pot, with Bradley Walsh presenting.

The Chase — Challenge, 7pm and 8pm

Two regular episodes follow, series 13 episodes 11 and 12, each with four ordinary contestants trying to build a jackpot and then hold off one of the Chasers. It is the same format as the celebrity version without the charity angle, and the two shows run straight into each other.

The Chase Celebrity — Challenge, 9pm

Another celebrity edition, series 9 episode 6. This time the team is the TV presenters Donna Air, Amanda Lamb, Sarah Greene and Dan Snow, again playing for charity.

The Chase — Challenge, 10pm

A regular episode from series 9, episode 171, so an older run than the 7pm and 8pm shows. It is a repeat, and a quiet one.

Bullseye — Challenge, 11pm and 11:30pm

The night finishes with two half-hours of Bullseye, series 3 episodes 2 and 3. It is the classic darts-and-general-knowledge quiz, a good wind-down after five hours of the Chasers.

What kind of shows are on Challenge

The Chase family

The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh, is the anchor: contestants answer general knowledge questions and try to stay ahead of a professional quiz player. The celebrity editions and Celebrity Chase specials sit alongside it, so a single day can hold more than ten episodes.

Classic and cash quiz shows

Bullseye, a darts and general knowledge quiz, fills the early hours and the late evening. Bridge of Lies, Cash Trapped, Family Fortunes, Tenable and Beat the Chasers also turn up, mostly in single-episode slots through the day.

A few non-quiz fillers

The daytime also carries some antiques programming, such as Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, and teleshopping in the early morning.

TV Radar Team is the byline on TV Radar's automatically generated TV guides — covering BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and beyond. Each evening's schedule is built from the published listings (titles, start times, run lengths and episode numbers) and checked against our listings data before publication, so you can decide in two minutes what to record and what to skip. These guides are generated automatically rather than written by hand; a human editor spot-checks them, but not every page is read before it goes live. Based in London, updated every day.
