Rewind TV tonight — primetime and the evening schedule

Here’s the Rewind TV primetime line-up for tonight, Saturday 24 October 2026.

Bowler — Rewind TV, 6pm, 6:30pm and 7pm

Three half-hours in a row of the 1970s sitcom, episodes nine, ten and eleven of the first series. In the first, Bowler sets himself up as a charitable benefactor after taking a boy back to a children’s home, and enjoys the status until his ambitions spoil it. The second has him promising his late uncle a classy send-off that quickly goes wrong. In the third he tries to smarten up the family’s image, and the people closest to him get in the way.

The Upper Hand — Rewind TV, 7:30pm and 8pm

Two episodes of series five, which also aired at lunchtime. Caroline is laid up with a sprained ankle, and Charlie’s fussing starts to worry her. After that Joanna is allowed out to a party and drinks far too much.

Harry Hill’s TV Burp — Rewind TV, 8:30pm, 9pm and 9:30pm

Three episodes back to back, the fourth to sixth of series five. Each is the same format of quick clips, sketches and running jokes, so it works as background or as a binge. If you remember the original run, expect plenty of television you have forgotten.

Emmanuelle in Soho — Rewind TV, 10pm

A British erotic film that follows a would-be star of Soho’s strip clubs and the seedy agent she signs with. Rewind TV files its late films under the Rewind After Hours banner, so this is for adults only.

Van Nuys Boulevard — Rewind TV, 11:20pm

A 1979 American comedy about the Los Angeles cruising scene, in which a small-town driver drops in on the nightlife: fast cars, girls and neon. It is a cult item rather than a classic, and it closes the night at about 1:20am.

What kind of shows are on Rewind TV

Vintage sitcoms

Comedy is the main draw. Doctor on the Go, The Upper Hand, Faith in the Future, Bowler, The Fenn Street Gang, Only When I Laugh and Drop the Dead Donkey sit alongside Harry Hill’s TV Burp, with the same programmes cropping up at different times of day.

Adventure and cult drama

Department S and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) bring the colourful end of vintage adventure, while Star Maidens and Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe cover the science-fiction side.

Music, countryside and late-night films

Stereo Underground and Bubblegum & Cheese are the music strands, and Jack Hargreaves’ Old Country is a slow, rural throwback. After dark the channel turns to cult and adult films under the name Rewind After Hours. Content on those late slots is not aimed at younger viewers.
