What’s on ITV2 today

Tuesday daytime on ITV2 opens with home improvement and dating formats, Backyard Builds at 6am followed by Dress to Impress at 6:30am. From 7:30am the American Real Housewives franchise takes two hours of the schedule, Salt Lake City’s Santorini trip followed by Orange County, before The Only Way Is Essex rejoins its own Caribbean storyline at 9:20am.

Both Dawson’s Creek and Charmed rewind to early episodes at 10:15am and 11:10am, a rare pairing of two different decades of US drama back to back. Deal or No Deal and Supermarket Sweep carry the schedule past lunch, The Floor US returns at 2:10pm, and a new Salt Lake City episode closes out the afternoon at 4:10pm ahead of Orange County at 5pm.

ITV2 tonight — primetime and the evening schedule

Here’s the ITV2 primetime line-up for tonight, Tuesday 4 August 2026.

Celebrity Catchphrase — ITV2, 6pm

Stephen Mulhern hosts a celebrity edition tonight, with Beverley Callard, Kirsty Gallacher and Stephen K Amos guessing the picture clues in aid of charity rather than a cash prize for themselves. The celebrity version tends to run looser than the civilian one, less nerves about getting an answer wrong.

The Floor US — ITV2, 7pm

Rob Lowe’s tile-based quiz is into its fourth series, and tonight pits the tournament’s most recognised remaining duo against each other. Losing a round still means losing your square of studio floor, which is the whole appeal of watching territory shrink in real time.

The 1% Club — ITV2, 8pm

Lee Mack’s puzzle show runs on the same premise as ever: general knowledge counts for nothing once the questions turn to logic instead. Contestants can be chasing a prize pot worth up to £100,000, depending on how many survive each round.

Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection — ITV2, 9pm

Olivia Attwood returns for a third series, opening with an episode built around cosmetic surgery in the public eye. Katie Price, Katherine Ryan, Bre Tiesi and Lateysha Grace talk through what put them under the knife and what it cost them once the cameras moved on.

Family Guy — ITV2, 10pm

Bonnie gives birth to a daughter in this series 7 outing, and Stewie promptly falls for the new arrival. It’s one of the more domestic episodes, family business filtered through Stewie’s usual disregard for boundaries.

Family Guy — ITV2, 10:30pm

The second half of the pair turns to broader satire, with Peter signing up for medical experiments to clear his debts. It follows straight on from the 10pm episode as part of the same series 7 run.

Family Guy — ITV2, 11:05pm

This one drops back a series. It’s an older series 6 episode, built around Lois returning from the dead to name Stewie as her would-be killer, so it sits between two series 7 episodes tonight rather than continuing on from either.

American Dad! — ITV2, 11:35pm

Francine buries herself in a stack of books to dodge some embarrassment, roping in Roger, and Stan ends up spending the evening at the library too. A quieter series 17 entry to send the schedule off for the night.

What kind of shows are on ITV2

Reality TV and dating formats

Love Island is what the channel is built around, but the daytime schedule runs on the same fuel at lower stakes: Dress to Impress, Dinner Date, TOWIE, and imported American Real Housewives by the yard. Most of it is repeated within the same day, which tells you how it is meant to be watched.

Comedy and US animation

Family Guy, American Dad! and Bob’s Burgers hold up the late-night schedule. None of it is exclusive to ITV2 and none of it is new, but there is enough of it in circulation that a rerun is on somewhere between 11pm and 3am most nights.

Family films

Weekend evenings usually go to animated and studio comedy films, the Ice Age and Madagascar sort of thing.

Streaming online

You’ll need a free ITVX account, which takes a couple of minutes to set up and costs nothing. Full episodes of Love Island, Family Guy and most other ITV2 shows are also available on demand shortly after broadcast.

ITV2 +1 and sister channels

ITV2+1 repeats the schedule an hour behind, which is the fix for sitting down at 9.15pm and finding you have missed the opening. Numbers are in the table above. Beyond the timeshift channel, ITV2 sits alongside ITV1, ITV3 and ITV4, and a show premiering on ITV1 will often turn up on ITV2 later.

Verdict

With Love Island off air until the next series, ITV2 fills Tuesday evening with quizzes rather than films. Celebrity Catchphrase and The Floor US cover the early slots, Lee Mack’s The 1% Club takes 8pm, and Olivia Attwood opens her third series at 9pm.

Either side of it the channel does what it always does. Reality reruns and game shows at teatime, Family Guy and American Dad! into the small hours. Dependable rather than essential.
