Sunday’s overnight hours open with Minder at 12:35am (series 3, episode 6), before three episodes of Two and a Half Men run back to back from 1:35am (series 5, episodes 8 to 10) and a short Unwind with ITV wind-down slot takes 2:50am, with teleshopping filling the rest of the small hours from 3am. Auto Mundial gets the day going at 6am with a new instalment (series 2026, episode 35), Motorsport Mundial follows at 6:30am (series 2026, episode 34), and two editions of The Big Match Revisited run from 7am, digging out First Division footage from March and April 1980. The fifth and final stage of the Women’s Tour of Britain, starting and finishing in Royal Leamington Spa, with the overall race winner crowned by the end of the hour.

Apollo 13 — ITV4, 9pm

Ron Howard’s 1995 account of NASA’s aborted third lunar mission, with Tom Hanks as Jim Lovell and Kevin Bacon as Jack Swigert, takes the run through to 11:50pm — the stretch where the crew shelter in the lunar module to survive the trip home. A five-minute FYI Daily bulletin breaks the film at 10pm before it picks straight back up at 10:05pm.

Live sport: racing, rugby and darts

ITV4 carries the bulk of ITV’s live sport rights outside of ITV1’s biggest occasions. ITV Racing has been the channel’s anchor since horse racing moved to ITV from Channel 4 in 2017, running near-daily meetings alongside the showpiece Saturdays.
