Really TV Guide: Listings, Schedule & What’s On Really Tonight

ChannelsDaily TV Guide
Tonight at a Glance 7 programmes · 6pm–1am

Really is Warner Bros. Discovery’s ghost-hunting and salvage-and-antiques channel. It arrived on Freeview in January 2026 and absorbed the old HGTV UK’s home-and-garden library on the way in, which is why the daytime grid now runs so heavily to saleroom telly. Tonight, Saturday 15 August 2026, The Repair Shop settles in for a long afternoon run before the channel’s paranormal identity takes over after 9pm. Full breakdown below.

What’s on Really today

Saturday’s schedule opens with two more editions of Help! My House Is Haunted at midnight and 1am, then Teleshopping fills the small hours from 2am. Salvage Hunters runs in pairs either side of breakfast, at 4am and 5am and again at 8am and 9am, with Fantasy Homes By The Sea at 6am and Cruise TV with LoveitBookit at 7am slotted between them. The Yorkshire Auction House takes the late-morning slots at 10am and 11am, and from noon The Repair Shop takes over entirely, running nine episodes back-to-back through to 8pm.

Really tonight — primetime and the evening schedule

Here’s what’s actually on Really today, Saturday 15 August 2026.

The Repair Shop — Really, 12pm to 8pm

Nine editions of The Repair Shop occupy Really from noon right through to 8pm, filling what would normally be separate afternoon and evening slots, the 6pm and 7pm hours included. Restorers Steve, Suzie, Brenton, Will and the rest of the workshop team work through a run of vintage items brought in by their owners, among them a pinball machine, a birdcage, a childhood toy car and a pair of platinum records. It’s one continuous block rather than nine distinct bookings, so don’t expect the schedule to vary hour to hour.

Death Walker With Nick Groff — Really, 9pm

Tonight’s one genuinely new hour on the channel. Nick Groff returns for series 5 with co-investigator Tessa, and this case takes them to the Eagle House Restaurant, a site with a long-standing reputation for activity that staff say doesn’t stop when the doors close. Groff’s format works from named locations and documented incidents rather than manufactured jump-scares, and that grounding is what separates his series from the cheaper end of the ghost-hunting genre. As the only premiere on Really’s grid today, it’s the pick of the evening if you’re choosing one hour.

Help! My House Is Haunted — Really, 10pm and 11pm

Two more editions close out the night. At 10pm, homeowners Tim and Christine ask the team to help them reclaim a Bristol house they’ve lived in for 25 years after it turned openly hostile toward them. The 11pm follow-up stays in Bristol, where Emma has been finding handprints around her home that investigators trace back to a former police officer who died nearly two decades earlier.

What kind of shows are on Really

Paranormal and ghost-hunting

This is what Really is for. Death Walker With Nick Groff and Help! My House Is Haunted anchor most weeknight evenings, and both work from named, specific properties rather than the moody reconstructions cheaper ghost shows fall back on.

Home, antiques and lifestyle repeats

The daytime grid is where HGTV UK’s old audience ended up. The Repair Shop, Salvage Hunters, The Yorkshire Auction House and Fantasy Homes By The Sea run in long repeated stretches, several series deep, none of it first-run. Overnight the schedule gives up on programming altogether and sells you cruises and teleshopping until 4am.

How to watch Really

Channel numbers

Here’s where to find Really across the main UK television platforms:

Platform Channel
Freeview 44
Sky 142
Really +1 on Sky 242
Virgin Media 165
Really +1 on Virgin Media 365
Freesat 149

No subscription on any of them. The +1 exists on Sky and Virgin Media only, not on Freeview. Freesat and Virgin numbers drift a little by region and by box, so trust your on-screen guide over this table if the two disagree.

Streaming online

Really streams live and free through discovery+, Warner Bros. Discovery’s ad-supported app, on smart TVs, iOS, Android and most streaming sticks. A free account gets you the live channel and a rolling catch-up window on recent episodes, paid for in ad breaks rather than cash.

Really sister channels

Older write-ups still file Really under UKTV. They are out of date. It now sits in Warner Bros. Discovery’s UK stable next to Quest, Quest Red, Discovery Channel, Food Network and DMAX. Quest is the closest relation of the lot, sharing programmes with Really outright, Salvage Hunters among them, which is part of why that title turns up so often on both grids. Dave, Drama, Yesterday and W stayed behind with UKTV and BBC Studios, so they are a different family now whatever the old listings pages say.

Frequently asked questions

What’s on Really tonight?

The Repair Shop runs in a nine-episode block from noon to 8pm, then a new Death Walker With Nick Groff airs at 9pm, followed by two more editions of Help! My House Is Haunted at 10pm and 11pm. Full times are in the schedule table above.

What channel is Really on Freeview?

Freeview channel 44, since the January 2026 move.

What channel is Really on Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat?

Sky 142, Virgin Media 165, and Freesat 149. Really +1 runs an hour behind on Sky 242 and Virgin Media 365, though there’s no Freeview +1 currently.

Is Really free to watch?

Yes, on every platform, with no subscription. Expect the usual ad breaks of a commercial free-to-air channel.

Can I watch Really online for free?

Yes, live and on catch-up via discovery+, Warner Bros. Discovery’s free, ad-supported streaming app.

Who owns Really?

Warner Bros. Discovery. UKTV launched the channel in 2009 but sold it to Discovery in 2019, and Discovery became part of Warner Bros. Discovery after its 2022 merger with WarnerMedia.

Verdict

Really knows exactly what it is, which is more than most channels this far down the guide can say. Death Walker With Nick Groff and Help! My House Is Haunted give it an identity, and Groff at least behaves like a man investigating something rather than a man reacting to a noise. The daytime half is comfortable and nothing more.

Tonight runs a simpler pattern than usual, one long repeat block followed by the one hour that actually is new. If you’re picking a single hour, make it 9pm.
