Tony Schumacher wrote The Responder. The Cage is his follow-up: Liverpool, a casino, two workers stealing from the same employer by different methods. Michael Socha is Matty — small amounts, no real plan. Sheridan Smith is Leanne — systematic, longer-term. When neither can hold it together alone, they find each other.
