9pm: The Cage
The Cage ⭐ – BBC One, 9pm (NEW SERIES)
Tony Schumacher wrote The Responder. The Cage is his follow-up: Liverpool, a casino, two workers stealing from the same employer by different methods. Michael Socha is Matty — small amounts, no real plan. Sheridan Smith is Leanne — systematic, longer-term. When neither can hold it together alone, they find each other.
The people they’re stealing from are dangerous individuals, not institutions. The police are circling too. “There’s no way we’ll be caught, will there?” asks Matty. “Absolutely no way on earth,” says Leanne. Full series on iPlayer from tonight.
Your Song – Channel 4, 9pm
London. A 90-year-old who recovered his voice after a stroke through Sinatra. A father-and-son lullaby. An 83-year-old from Derry returning to a song she gave up 30 years ago. Alison Hammond hosts; Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder judge. C4 streaming.

Inside the CIA – Secrets and Spies – National Geographic, 9pm
Kari Amelung, 33-year CIA veteran: “My job was to recruit spies and steal secrets.” A 1990 operation that went badly wrong, described on record. Part tradecraft documentary, part PR exercise. Disney+.
Murdoch Mysteries – U&Alibi, 7pm
A coyote panic in a Toronto park. Murdoch determines it’s been engineered. The threat is the opportunist, not the animal. Now.
