What’s on BBC One today: the daytime schedule

Sunday daytime is a different shape again from Saturday’s. Breakfast holds the sofa until 8:50am, when Match of the Day gets an unusual early airing. This is last night’s edition, covering five games — Liverpool’s season-opening fixture at home to Nottingham Forest among them, plus Coventry against Hull — and it has nothing to do with the highlights shown later tonight.

Religion and current affairs take the late morning: Prayer & Reflection from Palpung Changchub Dargyeling Buddhist Temple, the Tibetan Buddhist temple in Brynmawr, airs at 10am, followed by Sunday Morning Live at 10:30am and Money for Nothing at 11:30am.

Bargain Hunt opens the afternoon at 12:15pm, ahead of the one o’clock news and weather.
