More4 is Channel 4’s factual and lifestyle channel: property shows, food formats and the fly-on-the-wall documentaries that would crowd out the main channel’s schedule. It launched on 10 October 2005 and has been free to air since 6 May 2008, when it dropped the subscription requirement it had briefly carried on satellite. Thursday’s More4 schedule runs to 27 slots built from a handful of unique programmes, with two property/food formats doing almost all of the daytime work: two Four in a Bed blocks either side of a run of Come Dine with Me, though only one of those blocks is actually a clean week.

Overnight, 999: On the Front Line takes the 12:10am slot (series 6, episode 8), then two episodes of 24 Hours in A&E follow at 1:15am and 2:20am — both series 12, but four episodes apart (12, then 16) rather than a matched pair. The Perfect Pitch airs just after 3:25am, then teleshopping and Discover Must Have Ideas: Shopping fill most of the rest of the night before Find It, Fix It, Flog It takes the 8:55am slot.

Four in a Bed opens the day proper at 10am with five episodes from series 13, run in order through to the pay-up finale at 12:10pm — a complete competition week. Come Dine with Me follows straight after: five episodes from the Chelmsford week, series 2023, running in order from episode 26 to episode 30. Grand Designs — More4, 7:55pm

Kevin McCloud checks in on a self-build ahead of tonight’s main event: a wheelchair-accessible family home drawn up by a design engineer who is paralysed below the waist, and the build tests both his budget and his marriage.

Car S.O.S — More4, 5:55pm & 6:50pm

Two consecutive restorations lead into the evening: a Lamborghini Espada at 5:55pm, then a Ford Escort Mexico at 6:50pm.

24 Hours in A&E — More4, 10pm & 11:05pm

Two unrelated episodes close the night rather than a matched pair. The 10pm edition (series 13) follows a 79-year-old airlifted in after a road collision; the 11:05pm edition (series 12) covers a serious wound and a cardiac case.
