Overnight is two films back to back. Lucky Number Slevin opens at 1:10am, the 2006 thriller in which a case of mistaken identity drags Josh Hartnett’s character into a debt owed to a mob boss. Acceleration follows at 3:20am, a 2019 kidnap thriller with Dolph Lundgren in which a mother is given one night to meet a crime boss’s demands or lose her son. Legend goes off air just after 5am and stays dark until 5:30am, then runs teleshopping until programmes resume properly at 8am.

Breakfast and the morning are a run of genre television. Walker, Texas Ranger opens the day at 8am, tracking a gang of young Cherokee men accused of raiding museums for Native American artefacts, before The Six Million Dollar Man returns at 9am in a different episode from tonight’s 6pm outing, with a parapsychologist trying to warn Steve Austin he’s in danger.
