Angus Ashworth travels well outside his usual North Yorkshire patch, down to Trowbridge in Wiltshire, to help the family of Dean, a collector who died young, clear out a genuinely odd haul: vintage Chopper bikes, old fruit machines and a Wurlitzer jukebox, with everything raised going to his daughter. Reese Witherspoon plays Margot, whose sister’s big day is thrown into chaos when the wedding venue turns out to be double-booked for a far flashier one. Cue a tug-of-war with the rival bride’s father, played by Will Ferrell, that’s sillier than sharp, but the two leads carry it well enough. Rated 15, so a bit more bite than the trailer suggests. The Funeral Home Horror: The Big Cases – BBC Two, 10pm

This one lands hard. Hull funeral director Robert Bush admitted dozens of charges earlier this year after hoarding bodies, selling funeral plans that didn’t exist and handing grieving families the wrong ashes; investigators eventually recovered 35 bodies and half a tonne of unaccounted-for remains.
