Friday keeps to the channel’s usual early-morning build: Roots and Fruits opens at 6am, then Bing, Teletubbies and a Bluey Minisodes short run through to Hey Duggee and a Bluey double from 7:05am. Something Special: We’re All Friends holds its regular late-morning and early-afternoon slots, at 9:45am and again at 1:45pm, both signed throughout in Makaton.

The afternoon rotates through Teletubbies, the Octonauts spin-off Octonauts: Above & Beyond, Peter Rabbit and a second Hey Duggee pairing, before Time for School, Supertato and Do Not Watch This Show carry the schedule towards early evening. Dodge’s Pup School gets a new episode at 5:10pm, and the wind-down proper begins from Sarah & Duck at 5:50pm.

Most of the schedule is BBC-commissioned. Hey Duggee, from Studio AKA and BBC Studios, has taken multiple Children’s BAFTAs since 2015 and is one of the most-streamed titles the channel has ever had. Something Special was built around Makaton signing from the outset, for children with delayed learning and communication needs, and presenters use Makaton in the links between programmes.
