Sunday keeps the same shape CBeebies mornings always take: a short “This Is CBeebies” ident from 5:30am eases into the 6am start, then five- and ten-minute shows stack one after another so a young child can drift off and come back without losing the thread. Bing, Hey Duggee, Bluey, Puffin Rock and Zog each turn up more than once through the morning and afternoon, a different episode each time rather than a straight repeat. Something Special: We’re All Friends, still built around Makaton signing throughout, keeps its usual two slots, at 9am and 2pm. A new episode of Knee High Spies airs at 11:05am, with an earlier episode from the same series repeating at 3:40pm.

The afternoon works through the channel’s usual rotation — Octonauts, Go Jetters, Big Lizard, Piripenguins, Roots and Fruits, Yukee and Vida the Vet among them — most getting a morning-or-lunchtime slot and a separate afternoon showing. CBeebies’ own commissions

Most of the schedule is BBC-commissioned. Hey Duggee, from Studio AKA and BBC Studios, has taken multiple Children’s BAFTAs since 2015 and is one of the most-streamed titles the channel has ever had.
