It launched on 10 October 2005 and has been free to air since 6 May 2008, when it dropped the subscription requirement it had briefly carried on satellite. Monday’s More4 schedule runs to 28 slots built from a handful of unique programmes, and daytime is almost entirely given over to the same property/format strands as usual: Four in a Bed and Come Dine with Me carrying the morning into the afternoon.

Overnight, 999: On the Front Line takes the midnight slot, then Surgeons: Life in Their Hands and Police Rescue follow before 24 Hours in A&E and the High Street shopping strand fill the small hours. Four in a Bed restarts the proper schedule at 8:55am with five episodes running through to 11:35am.

Come Dine with Me takes over with five episodes through to 2:15pm, when Four in a Bed returns for a further five-episode run ending at 4:20pm. Car S.O.S. airs twice in the early evening before Grand Designs picks up the schedule the moment it ends. See below.

Two episodes of the fly-on-the-wall documentary close the night from 10pm, filmed at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and cut together from real emergencies rather than anything reconstructed.
