Ben Fogle New Lives in the Wild in France: who is Mark?
Mark spent his working life selling technology before deciding that the corporate routine wasn’t for him. He chose a derelict pig farm in rural western France as the place to start again.
He rebuilt it into his home and a sanctuary, and he calls it Fantasy Farm. It was the setting for episode 10, shown on Tuesday 3 November 2026. In this series the reason someone left their old life tends to carry more weight than the place itself, and Ben’s questions about what Mark gave up are where the episode earns its hour.
