What is Hunting Alice Bell about?
Alexandra Roach plays Fran Da Silva, who is accused online of being Alice Bell. In the story, Alice Bell is a former nurse who helped a notorious serial killer and now lives under a new name. The accusation is wrong, but the online hatred wrecks Fran’s family life.
Fran then finds other women who have been wrongly accused in the same way. They team up to clear their names, though one of them may be hiding the truth and may be the real Alice Bell. Channel 4 bills it as a psychological thriller built around a whodunnit.
