When is the Taskmaster final on?

Our feed has the final on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday 5 November, as episode 10 of series 22. Channel 4 +1 is listed an hour later, at 10pm. The series began on Thursday 3 September, so this is the tenth weekly episode.

For the rest of that evening on every channel, see what’s on TV tonight, Thursday.

Who is in Taskmaster series 22?

Channel 4 announced the line-up on 11 June 2026, as series 21 finished.

  • Chloe Petts: comedian, seen on Have I Got News For You.
  • Isy Suttie: comedian, writer and actor, best known as Dobby in Peep Show.
  • Matt Lucas: actor, author, comedian and presenter.
  • Nina Conti: ventriloquist and actor.
  • Richard Ayoade: comedian, actor, writer and director.

Greg Davies is the Taskmaster, with Alex Horne as his assistant, as in every series.

How is the champion decided?

Contestants take on tasks, the Taskmaster scores and judges them, and the final names the series champion. We have not seen this year’s final format confirmed by two independent outlets, so we won’t guess at it. Nor do we have an up-to-date scoreboard from two outlets to quote. The result comes on the night.

What happens after the final?

Channel 4 recommissioned Taskmaster for six more series in April 2026, over roughly three years. Series 22 and 23 were already announced and are part of that count.

The same deal covers the New Year Treat specials, and Champion of Champions will come back once there are enough new champions to take part. Channel 4 has also said full UK episodes are coming to its YouTube channel.

If you’d rather watch the bleeped version, Taskmaster Bleeped: The Final is listed on E4 Extra at 8pm on Sunday 8 November.

Each evening's schedule is built from the published listings (titles, start times, run lengths and episode numbers) and checked against our listings data before publication, so you can decide in two minutes what to record and what to skip.
